Getting Active walks
The nights are starting to draw in but we would
like to continue the Thursday evening walks if we
can. Our facebook page “St Mary’s Buckden” will
be updated each Thursday afternoon confirming
the plan for that evening.
We are an Engage Award Winner:
Bishop David visited to present the award for en-
gaging with the community via the new stars on
the tower. “What an imaginative project with the
illuminated stars being seen by thousands of
passers-by during the Advent season”.
Thank you
To everyone who took part in the *800 and counting*
challenge and to everyone who joined us for the Celebra-
tion weekend
Next month we hope to be able to announce the final fig-
ure raised by the challenge.
The restoration work continues
thanks
to all the fund-
raising efforts, donations and grants that have contributed
since the Restoration Appeal was launched a year ago.
Apologies for any inconvenience caused as the high level
stonework and the clock are repaired.
