Huntingdonshire Health Walk Scheme
Huntingdon Group October 2017
This month, there are 4 Wednesday-p.m. and 4 Friday-a.m.
health walks. Unusually, none of them centre on the Village
Hall car park, although the larger of the two car parks at
Buckden Marina is the venue for the walk at 2pm on the
11th.
Health walks are of 45-80 minutes' duration and you walk at
your own pace, with the added advantages that you are in
the company of other walkers and that trained walk leaders
are your guides.
Weatherproof clothes and sturdy footwear are vital, as is a
bottle of drinking water. There's usually a cup of tea/coffee
available for our benefit afterwards, if you so wish.
Regular health-walking is companionable, health-enhancing
and fun -- why not "give it a go"?
