Huntingdonshire Health Walk Scheme

Huntingdon Group October 2015

All-comers are welcome to these approximately-1-

hour guided easy-paced walks, 'tho' some may not be

wheelchair-/buggy-/pram-friendly: they are chances to

make new friends/acquaintances, and to keep fit in

the process! Huntingdon's walks in October are on

Wednesday afternoons and Friday mornings, as usu-

al.

During October, only one of Huntingdon's 9 walks

starts from the Village Hall Car Park, which is at

1.50pm for 2pm on Wednesday the 21st, the

"Buckden Village" walk. Full details of the remaining 8

walks can be found on the website (see below) and in

the special booklet which can be picked up from the

Buckden Surgery, the Library and the Marina.

Macmillan Fashion Show

Thank you to all the ladies who supported our fashion

show on 10th September. You helped us to raise a

further £800 for the Macmillan Woodlands Building

Extension, bringing our committee's total to over

£23,000 this year! A big thank you to Jo and John at

the village hall for their support.
