Operation Christmas Child Shoe Box appeal.

This is now a community event with different organisations in Buckden participating, Buckden Methodist Church

being at the centre of it, as it is now a registered drop off centre for shoeboxes. Look out for more information

next month.

Remember leaflets are available in Saint Mary’s Church, Methodist Church, Saint Hugh’s Church, the Library and

the Village Hall.

Thank you to those who have requested patterns to knit a puppet; there is still time to request patterns or perhaps

you are able to knit a hat, mittens or a bag. I have patterns for these.

Thank you also for the items I have received already, it is much appreciated.

Operation Christmas Child is a worthwhile charity making a difference at Christmas, by giving shoe boxes con-

taining small gifts to children in poor countries.

If you would like more information then please contact Carol Swepstone 810053 Thank you.
