October is another busy month in the Hall including, amongst the regular hirers, a wedding reception, a dance

award ceremony, acupuncture training, a Crystal Blues Weekender and several business meetings.

Hello and welcome!

We are very happy to be the new home of the Huntingdonshire Amateur Radio Society, an over 60’s exercise

class to music and a craft course run by Saves Nine… Please call or email me if you would like more infor-

Macmillan Coffee Morning

We are holding a Macmillan Coffee Morning at the Hall on Friday 25

September at 10am. Please come along

and enjoy a cuppa and some cake while catching up with friends. The more the merrier and all for a good

cause!

Repairs and Maintenance

The Hall complex has recently had its 5 year fixed wire test.

Our Fabulous Hall!

We have had some fabulous feedback and comments about our Hall recently from our hirers – both private

and corporate. We have a great facility here and it’s right on our doorstep. We can accommodate for a large

variety of events and as residents of Buckden you will receive discounted rates! Please call or email me for

How you can help our charity

Did you know that whenever you buy anything online – from your weekly shop to your annual holiday – you

could be raising money for Buckden Village Hall Trust? There are nearly 3,000 retailers including Amazon,

John Lewis, M&S, Aviva and Tesco who will donate a percentage of the amount you spend to Buckden Village

Hall Trust to say thank you for shopping with them. It’s really simple and doesn’t cost you anything. All you

PICTURES TO FEATURE IN THE BUCKDEN ROUNDABOUT

As you are aware, we are always happy to receive any pictures for use in the magazine, either on the cover or

inside. We do still receive quite a few every month but are always willing to accept more.

Please note that we are also willing to accept drawings and paintings for future use as well. The cover of last

month’s issue is a great example of that.

One final plea. We have several pictures of Buckden and the surrounding countryside in Winter, Spring and Sum-

mer but we have none at all that are autumnal! Please check photos, or get out there with a camera!
