Interregnum / Vacancy
Starting from 1st August 2014, St Mary’s Buckden is in
an interregnum (or vacancy). This means that we do
not currently have a vicar or priest in charge. The se-
lection process for a new priest will take some months
to complete. In the meantime, Sunday Services and
Wednesday Communion will continue as normal with
the help of our team of retired clergy and licensed lay
ministers.
Bookings for baptisms, weddings and funerals are still
being taken – please contact the churchwardens in the
first instance.
There will be no formal Midday Prayers but please re-
member that St Mary’s is open during the day for pri-
vate prayer.
