Huntingdonshire Health Walk Scheme
Huntingdon Group January 2019
With more than 30 different routes, the Huntingdon Group
walks for about one hour behind trained walk leaders every
Wednesday from 2pm and Friday from 10am, excluding public
holidays.
Two of January's eight walks -- on the 9th* and on the 30th --
are from the Buckden Village Hall car park. For details, please
see below.
Healthwalking is for anyone who can maintain his/her exercise-
walking pace for between 45 and 85 minutes. All-weather
clothing and footwear are key, and carrying a bottle of drinking
water is recommended. The scheme includes insurance cover
and, being also subsidised, welcomes voluntary contributions.
Venues are usually near refreshment areas, so relaxing after
the walk over a cuppa may well enhance the experience.

We are a social group of retired ladies who meet fortnightly
at 2.30pm in the Millard Room at Buckden Village Hall.
We enjoy a cup of tea as we chat and participate in a raffle.
Once a month we aim to organise a speaker or activity.
