By the time this edition of the Roundabout is printed, I will have left my post as Hall Manager. It has been a
pleasure to work at the Hall, alongside the Trustees, and John and Elaine - the other 2 part-time members of
staff.
Over the last year the Hall has been given a face lift – with internal painting, new blinds and the main hall floor
repolished. We have new external signage, and are busy planning the next round of improvements.
Our weekly classes go from strength to strength, and our weekends are busy with a variety of parties, celebra-
tions and dance evenings.
Our website holds details of our classes, history, rates and more, we post on twitter and face book and send
out a quarterly newsletter.
All in all, the Hall continues to thrive in difficult times. I wish my successor luck, and hope that the Hall contin-
ues as a valuable community asset for the village.
