You are invited to take part in St Mary’s
*800 and counting!!!* event
We at St Mary’s would like to challenge individuals / families / groups in the village to use your talents and
expertise to help us to celebrate the 800, have some fun, raise funds and “Grow the money" for our Restora-
tion Appeal
800 years -
2017 marks the 800th anniversary of the first recorded priest at St Mary’s Buckden.
800 pounds £££ -
on Saturday 22nd April 10.30am – 12noon we will be giving out 80 x £10.
It’s “first come, first served”, so come along with your contact details and your ideas.
800 ideas!!!
How you “grow the money” is entirely up to you. It could be a sponsored event, a coffee morning, a
car boot sale, a concert, busking, a stall at the village festival in July! If you’re creative, make something to sell or
auction. We just ask that you use your imagination and your talents to the full.
800 celebration.
We invite you to our celebration weekend on 16th / 17th September when all proceeds are to
be returned to St Mary’s as we celebrate the many and varied talents within the village.
