THIRTY YEARS TO WRITE A BOOK
Ted Bocking’s inheritance of family papers started
his research into the life and times of his great
grandfather, a Norfolk policeman. Ted will share
anecdotes and his research during his talk.

MONDAY CLUB
We are a social group of retired ladies who meet
fortnightly at 2.30pm in the Millard Room at Buck-
den Village Hall.
We enjoy a cup of tea as we chat and participate in
a raffle. Once a month we aim to organise a speak-
er or activity.
Our Meetings for March 2014 will be on Monday

& Andy Scott will talk to us about their recent trip to
New Zealand.

Fairtrade Stall in St Mary's Church
11-30am until lunchtime.
Come along and purchase Fairtrade food products,
and help to provide better prices, decent working
conditions, local sustainability, and fair terms of
trade for farmers and workers in the developing
world.
BUCKDEN WI COFFEE MORNING
Buckden WI are to hold a coffee morning to raise
funds for Somerset Community Association who are
very heavily involved in helping victims of the recent
floods.
All welcome to join us for a cuppa & cake in the
Scout Hut on Wednesday 12

noon. £3.00 donation please. Raffle, Bring & buy
stall, etc.
