Front Cover
The cover this month shows the village sing in Didding-
ton, and was provided ny Janice Endersby. As ever, we
are very grateful for the chance to use such a fabulous
photo as our cover image.
We are always looking for photos, images, drawings and
paintings to use on the front cover so please keep send-
ing them in. Please note that photos should ideally be in
portrait format and should be a
minimum
of 2400 x
1700 pixels. More is better!
All advertisements and non-advertising material are printed in
good faith. However neither the Buckden Roundabout nor
the Buckden Parish Council can accept any responsibility for

After an unexpected very warm weekend in April, it seemed that cooler weather was returning to take a hold. I am
delighted to say that as I am writing this it is a glorious May day outside! Long may it continue, particularly for all the
outdoor events we have in Buckden over the summer months including the Village Festival on July 7th. There will be
more information regarding the festival in the July issue.
In the centre of the magazine this month, you will find the Annual Report from Buckden Parish Council. As you
know, we had elections in May for both the Parish Council and the District Council. Three of our councillors decided
not to seek re-election, and we had one new person nominated. Sadly, there were not enough names to require an
election - something I hope to see in the future! Since the election, we have co-opted additional members and the
Council now numbers 14, meaning there is still room for one more councillor! Please pop in and see the Clerk if you
are interested in serving the local community.
