Buckden Roundabout

June 2018

Huntingdonshire Health Walk Scheme

Huntingdon Group June 2018

Our group's varied walks, with trained walk leaders, take place

every Wednesday and Friday at 2pm and 10am respectively.

So June has nine walks, including one from the Buckden Village

Hall on the 22nd. Walk details are available in a booklet that

leaders can provide, and also from the contacts shown below.

If walking for between 45 and 90 minutes at your exercise-

walking pace is OK, you can enjoy a health walk. Sturdy foot-

wear and weatherproof clothing are key, and carrying a small

bottle of drinking water will help avoid dehydration.

Health walking is healthy and fun. An optional tea or coffee

usually follows the walk. The walks themselves are free, but

voluntary donations to the mainly Council-funded scheme will

help support its development.

Please check www.huntingdonshire.gov.uk/healthwalks, or

'phone Danielle Sancaster on 01480 387047 for details.
