As I type thework todeep clean, re-seal and polish themain hall wooden floor is drawing to a close, and it is
looking fantastic – the colours in thewood are quite beautiful. Our final task is tohave the skirtingboards re-
varnished, to complete themake-over.
Looking forward, wehope that our next project will be a revamp of the stage, including looking at lighting re-
quirements and aPA system. If anyof you have experienceof installing/workingwithPA’s, or are theatrical
and can give adviceon stage lightingand rigging, I would love tohear from you.
On amore serious note, I would like todraw everyone’s attention toBVHTPolicy regarding theLake (Valley).
There isabsolutelyNOFishing, boatingor swimming allowed
. Thank you to the residentswho drew to
our attention the recent unauthorized clearingof approx 10metres of the bank for fishing. Please do inform us
if you see any further attempts to clear the Lake.
TheLakearea is a spaceof natural growth andbeauty,
and removal of anyparts, unless authorizedbyBVHT,will be seen asvandalism and treated assuch.
