Saturday super hero themedparade ledby “BlueVisionTwirlingTeam”
It's time for everyone to join in and have some fun. A time for children and adults to have fun by dressing
upas heroes, decorating their bikes, trikes,mobility scooters etc. and coming to join in theFestival Pa-
rademeeting at 11am at BuckdenTowers. Little ones and thosewith limitedmobility can join the parade
at BuckdenNurseryand should be there 12 noon
Saturdayopening ceremonyballoon release (in aidof FOBS)
Balloonswill be sold at BuckdenSchool for £1.50 each. Thesewill be releasedat theFete after the pa-
rade.

Friends inDeed has twodates for your diaries. The first, June 28th, the day of theVillageFete.
Friends inDeed will be running a Bottle Tombola. Last year we were very successful and as we
have no overheads and rely on your generosity we shall again be able to give all themoney we
take to the Village Hall Trust. Please may I ask you to be generous again? Anything from
champagne to shampoo, so long a it comes in a bottle. Contributionsmay be given to any Friends in Deed team
member, or after June1st, taken toRev. Miles Falla at TheBowlings or toChristine Lawrence. Alternatively, if you
phoneChristine [number below] Shewill arrange for someone to collect from you.
Our second date is someweeks off yet. Pleasemake a note of Wednesday, August 13thwhenwe shall hold our
Summer TeaParty at TheBowlings at the invitation of Pam andMiles Falla. This iswhenwe invite all the folkwe
regularly visit, and everyonewho has at any time asked for our friendship or any other kind of help. Invitationswill
