ton with a topic of local interest.

Monday 18th

Huntingdonshire Health Walk Scheme

Huntingdon Group September 2016

There are nine different Wednesday morning/Friday

afternoon walks to choose from in September, one of

which starts at the Village Hall Car Park at 1.50 for

2pm: this is the `Diddington Doddle'.

New health-walkers, always welcome, will be offered

our pocket-size brochure, an ID and an Incentive card,

plus information re outdoor-activity clothes at dis-

counted prices.

`Healthwalks' are easy-paced and last for about an

hour, and we know that our walkers feel the benefits

of the steady exercise, cheery company, and

(normally) refreshment facilities afterwards. It's always

advisable to carry a bottle of water, especially on a hot

day, and to wear fairly sturdy footwear!

For further info., walk details and maps, please

browse the HDC website, or 'phone Doug Finlayson

(acting Sports Development Officer [Health]) on 01480

387047). Website: www.huntingdonshire.gov.uk/
