Buckden Roundabout

May 2018

Huntingdonshire Health Walk Scheme

Huntingdon Group May 2018

Our group's varied walks, led by trained walk leaders, take

place every Wednesday at 2pm and Friday at 10am. So, May

has nine walks to choose from, including one from the Buckden

Marina car park on the 25th. If you can comfortably walk for

between 45 and 90 minutes at your exercise-walking pace, you

can enjoy a health walk.

Details of the planned walks are available from the contacts

below. Sturdy footwear and warm/waterproof clothing are

important, and carrying a small bottle of drinking water will

help avoid dehydration.

Health walking is healthy and fun, and a tea or coffee is usually

available afterwards, if required. The walks are free, but volun-

tary donations to the predominantly Council-funded scheme

are welcomed.

You can visit www.huntingdonshire.gov.uk/healthwalks for

details, or telephone Danielle Sancaster on 01480 387047.
