Over the last couple of weeks the temperature
has started to drop and it is starting to feel more
like winter. There is something quite special
about walking on a clear, crisp and sunny day in
winter.
We have the third of our articles looking at peo-
ple and places that used to be in the village. For
relative newcomers like me it is fascinating to
read about these characters from the past life of
the village, and even better when there are fab-
ulous photos as well!
You may have seen articles in the media, and
comments on Facebook, regarding the pro-
posed development by Lucks Lane. Please see
more information in the Parish Council section
on page 4.
We are looking for people to help us deliver the
magazine. It only takes approximately 30
minutes a month. Please contact us using the

this.
