The Great Buckden Sewing Bee

A meeting for communal work or amusement: a

sewing bee.

All are welcome to this free weekly session, just

bring along your own sewing project and join like-

minded people for an evening’s social sewing.

MONDAY CLUB

We are a social group of retired ladies who meet

fortnightly at 2.30pm in the Millard Room at Buck-

den Village Hall.

We enjoy a cup of tea as we chat and participate in

a raffle. Once a month we aim to organise a speak-

er or activity.

Our ever popular Quiz Night is on

At The Towers at 8.00 p.m.

All Welcome (including non members)

Teams of up to 6, but you can make up a team on

the night.

Tickets £4.00 per person including refreshments

and a glass of wine or soft drink and prizes for the

winning team.

As always our crack team of caterers will give Bake

Off a real challenge (not a soggy bottom will be

seen).

Its not (too) serious, so come along

for a fun evening!

Six Historic Rebels

Examining the careers of six rebels of various

kinds, including Socrates, Galileo, William Morris

and Ayatollah Khomeini. This course will explore

motivation and other aspects of rebelling down the

ages.
