Farewell toLong-ServingCouncillors
In theParishCouncil Annual Report, youwill have readof the retirement of ParishCouncillor June
Woods after 46 years of service to the community. Another of our long-serving councillors, Terry
Clough, also decided to retire beforeMay’s election. Terry has been aparish councillor since 1990and
has also, of course, served the village for 16 years in his additional role of District Councillor.
Wewould like to thank both councillors for their outstanding contribution.Wewill miss their knowledge
andwise counsel and send them all best wishes for the future. It’s beenaprivilege to serve onBuckden
ParishCouncil with you both.

trical item (including non-working) from hairdryers, videos, microwaves, to televisions and fridge/
freezers - basically, anythingwith a plug on.WISERRecyclingwill collect from right outside your
houseAll itemswill be taken to their fully licensed treatment facility. TheParishCouncil will receive a
revenue for theWEEEWaste collected, to be spent onCommunityProjects.
