Our sister church, All Saints’ Offord Cluny, has a ser-
vice at 9.30am each Sunday
Interregnum / Vacancy at St Mary’s
We do not currently have a vicar or priest in charge.
The selection process for a new priest will take some
months to complete. We are very grateful that Sunday
Services and Wednesday Communion continue with
the help of our team of retired clergy and licensed lay
ministers.
Bookings for baptisms, weddings and funerals are still
being taken – please contact the churchwardens in the
first instance.
Cup of tea and a chat? A member of the ministry team
will normally be in Church on Wednesdays 10-11am if
you want to drop in for a chat.
Forthcoming Events
Living Stones Café - Wednesday 11th February
2.30 – 4pm in the Living Stones Room. Run by
Friends in Deed. All are welcome to drop in for tea/
coffee/cakes. The café is now running every month on
the second Wednesday.
St. Mary’s Church Auction - Sat. 21st February .
Buckden Village Hall. Time to think about clearing out
the attic or garage? For more details please phone

Fairtrade Fortnight runs from 23 rd February, so there
will be a Fairtrade stall in church after the 10.30am
service on 22nd February & 1st March.
Regular Groups and Events
New members are always welcome,
just come along and join in
Coffee & Cakes: Every Saturday, 10.30-noon in St
Mary’s Living Stones Room.
Ground Floor Group: This small house group meets
2 nd & 4th Thursdays 8pm at 7 Vineyard Way for fellow-
ship and growing in faith.
‘Honeycomb’ : A group of and for those who are on
their own and find that time hangs heavy at the week-
end. The group meets at 7 Vineyard Way on the first
Sunday each month at 3 - 4.30pm for conversation,
tea and cake, board games, and fellowship,
Angel Voices informal all age gospel choir rehears-
es Fridays 13th & 20rd February at 6.45pm in the Living
Stones Room.
Bible study group meets on Monday 2nd February
1.30pm in the Living Stones Room
The Churches Together Study Lunch meets on the
2 nd Monday each month 12.30pm in the Methodist Hall
for delicious soup & bread, and discussion.
Lent Activities
The Churches Together Lent Study Lunches start
on Monday 23rd February and run for 5 weeks
12.30pm in the Methodist Hall. This year’s topic is
Celtic Christianity.
Lent Bible study: Why not dig out your old copy of “by
the skin of its teeth” or get its published replacement
The Writing on the Wall and use it as a daily guide
through the Old Testament?

St Mary’s is open during the day for private prayer.
Prayer requests may be left in church
Need some peace and quiet? You are welcome to
use the Quiet Room at the back of St Mary’s whenever
the church is open.
Need a place to meet? The St Mary’s Living Stones
Room (with kitchen and toilet facilities) is available for
hire for meetings and social gatherings. For more
information, contact Karen on 810027
