Buckden Gardeners Association

Date and meeting venue: 3

rd

Tuesday of each month, at

7.45pm in the Millard Suite, Buckden Village Hall in the winter

months, and out and about in the summer.

The group is for anyone interested in visiting gardens, garden-

ing, wildlife and for allotment holders .

What happens at meetings?

During winter months in the Village Hall, there are talks by

professional speakers on a wide range of horticultural and

wildlife topics.

There are two garden shows a year which are opportunities

for club members to exhibit flowers and vegetables that they

have grown, homemade wine, cooking, crafts and flower ar-

rangements. Doors open in the afternoon for all to view and

admire. There are outings in the summer to gardens and plac-

es of interest. There is a club shed for members to purchase

good quality gardening essentials at excellent prices. We have

a summer Garden Party and winter Christmas Party

The club is ideal for anyone living in Buckden and the sur-

rounding villages. There is a small annual membership fee,

and visitors are welcome to most events.
