Dear Members and All Buckden Friends, we shall have a revised schedule of talks for the first Wednesday of each month, hopefully starting September, once the ‘All Clear’ is sounded.
Meantime, "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country”, President John F. Kennedy, 20th January 1961. On this we shall be judged by future generations.

Founded in 1979, the Society aims to promote the study and knowledge of local history in its very widest sense, primarily by means of talks on all manner of topics in any way connected with the subject and will be pleased to promote individual or group research into local history projects.
