October 2018
Huntingdonshire Health Walk Scheme
Huntingdon Group October2018
Our Huntingdon Group benefits from a choice of almost 30
different walks. Trained leaders lead the way on Wednesdays
from 2pm and Fridays from 10am, excluding public holidays.
Leaders carry programme leaflets.
So 9 walks are mapped out for October, including a new walk
on the 3rd at Alconbury Weald. The walk centres on Buckden
Marina on the 24th.
A health walk is for you if you can sustain your exercise-walking
pace for up to 85 minutes at most. Sturdy footwear and
weatherproof clothing are important, as is a small bottle of
drinking water to avoid the risk of dehydration.
Healthwalking is healthy and fun. Our meeting points are usual-
ly close to an after-walk cuppa. The cost of running and devel-
oping the subsidised scheme is helped by voluntary contribu-
tions, gratefully received. Thank you.
