Buckden Junior Football Club
BJFC is a Charter Standard club, comprising 9 teams from Under 5/6 to Under 17. The teams (apart
from the U5s and 6s which conduct training only) participate in the Hunts Mini-Soccer, Hunts Youth or
Cambridge & District Colts Leagues as well as various Cup matches.

If your offspring (boys and girls) are interested in playing football for the Club and would like join one of

for players for the U9 Condors, U9 Harriers and U12 Falcons. Age limits for these teams are: age 7 or
8 by 31 Aug 13 for the U9s; and age 10 or 11 by 31 Aug 13 for the U12s.
Would You Like To Become A Referee?
Arguably, the most important individual on the pitch during any game is the Referee. BJFC would like
to recruit more Referees and is willing to finance training courses to achieve this. If you aspire to the
dizzy heights of Referee stardom and wish to find out more, please contact

Help In The Pavilion During Sunday Matches
During home matches on Saturdays and Sundays we sell hot/cold drinks and snacks at the pavilion.
We already have a volunteer to run things on Saturdays but we still require help on Sundays. If you are
interested in doing so please give

) a call. You don’t need to be able to help
every week but we would be very grateful for any assistance you can offer. On-the-job-training will be
provided!
