They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.
November is the time when we remember
those who have given their lives in the service
of their country. There is added poignancy this
November as we also remember the onset of
the Great War. There are events in the village
looking at WW1; please see the diary section
for details of where and when.
Many thanks for all the positive comments
about our full page photo cover last month. We
will hopefully make it a permanent feature once
we have a stock of suitable photos!
Our website now has a new section for village
organisations:
We have listed the ones that we are aware of,
and where possible have provided a link to their
own website. We invite all village organisations
to contact us and provide any relevant links. If
you do not have a website, the Roundabout will
be happy to host a page for you containing ad-
ditional information.
