There are 9 Wednesday-afternoon/ Friday-morning health
walks in May, although none of them starts in the village.
Health walks are of 45-80 minutes' duration. You walk at your
own pace but with the added benefits of being in the company
of other walkers and trained walk leaders.
There's no guarantee of good weather, so you are encouraged
to wear weather-proof clothes and sturdy shoes, and to carry a
bottle of water. We would like you to share the benefits of
healthy walking with us. After the walk, there's usually a
`cuppa' available to enjoy. We find walking'n'talking is a very
therapeutic and `fun' activity, and you'd be most welcome to
join us.

MONDAY CLUB
We are a social group of retired ladies who meet fortnightly
at 2.30pm in the Millard Room at Buckden Village Hall.
We enjoy a cup of tea as we chat and participate in a raffle.
Once a month we aim to organise a speaker or activity.
Our meetings for May 2017 will be:
• Monday 8th: ‘Falls Prevention and Awareness’

• Monday 22nd: CANCELLED

The Festival Players Theatre Company will return to Buckden
Towers on SUNDAY 11 JUNE to perform "The Merry Wives
of Windsor" in the Knot Garden at 7.30pm.
Tickets costing £15 each (concessions £12) will be available
from the Office after Easter.
