Welcome to the June edition of the Rounda-
bout.
Some administrative news. Please note that
with effect from June 1st the contact address
and phone number for the editor will change to
that given on this page.
Please ensure that all
articles and enquiries are directed to the

Our cover this month reflects a community
event happening very early next month - and
one that Buckden should rightly be proud of.
Please note that all are welcome to attend the
commemoration.
Finally please note that in order to help Buck-
den Village Festival the July edition will be dis-
tributed
a week earlier than planned on 23rd
June
. This makes our deadlines very tight so
please submit articles by
Tuesday 7th June.

Front Cover
Shows a photo of Capt Green VC and two
badges: Royal Army Medical Corps, his regi-
ment; and the Sherwood Foresters to whom he
was attached on the first day of the Somme.
We are still looking for photos, images, draw-
ings and paintings to use on the front cover so
please keep sending them in.
