May Match Results
Buckden U12 Harriers Victorious in Futsal Competition and League Cup Final
Having won the Hunts FA 9v9 County Youth Cup Final on 7 May, beating St Ives U12 Black Sox 2-0, our U12 Harriers then went
on to win the County Futsal Final, played in Hinchingbrooke School gym on 8 May (Futsal is a 5v5 indoor competition). Also, the
Harriers were yet again victorious at Somersham Town FC, this time on 12 May when they beat St Ives U12 Black Sox 3-2 in the
Hunts Youth League U12 9v9 Cup Final.
Buckden U10 Vultures Win Hunts Mini-Soccer League Cup Final And Two Tournaments
Our U10 Vultures decisively beat Brampton 4-0 in the Hunts Mini-Soccer U10 Cup Final on 13
May, played at Jubilee Park, Huntingdon. With the jubilant boys in the picture are Team
Manager Colin Deans (right) and Team Assistant Alan Lewey.
The Vultures also won the Mid-Beds Tigers and Goddy Rovers tournaments in the U10s cate-
gory.

We have 4 all-weather hard-courts waiting for you to play on. The courts are open 7 days a week, all year round, each with
floodlighting to county standard. Our friendly club welcomes people of all standards and ages.
We have a full range of club knock-out tournaments during the summer as well as mens, ladies and mixed teams competing in
Hunts & Peterborough and Cambridgeshire Leagues throughout the year. Upcoming events include Kidz on Court on the

July – a doubles tournament with pairs consisting of an adult and a junior (aged 10–18yrs) and the Social Tea Tournament on

For the social player we meet on Saturdays and Sundays mornings and Wednesday evenings. All members are welcome – no
one is left out. The courts are free to members to use at other times if they wish to arrange their own games.
For those looking to brush up their skills, or learn new techniques, we have coaching available for adults and juniors through
our LTA Qualified Coach Alex Button (Tel 07850031172). Coaching is available on 1:1 basis and group sessions can also be ar-
ranged.
