At our January meeting the ladies enjoyed cheese and wine as they grouped around the tables
to discuss and vote on the resolutions which might form our national WI campaigns for the
coming year. In spite of weighty issues being seriously discussed it was also a pleasant social
start to the New Year.
February will find us in our NEW VENUE at the Millard Suite in the village hall. Do join us there on Tuesday 6th Feb-
ruary at 7.30p.m. when our wonderful local butchers, Jason and Paul, will show us “How to…..”! Everyone is wel-
come.

), two kids’ parties, a private party and a
Rugcutters afternoon as well as all our regular hirers.
We would like to welcome Buckden WI to the Village Hall and look forward to seeing them on 6

War Memorial Playing Fields Trust Public Meeting
There will be a public meeting held in the Village Hall on Friday 16
th
February at 7:30pm. This is being held to discuss the
future development of the facilities on the playing field. Everyone is welcome to attend and the Trustees are hoping for a
good response from the village.
Repairs and Maintenance
The Hall will be closed from the afternoon of Friday 2
nd
February until Monday 5
th
February. This is due to essential mainte-
nance work which will be carried out on the Hall floor.
The foyer carpet was professionally cleaned just before Christmas.
