We take great pleasure in putting together this

magazine every month, and we are extremely

grateful for all the kind comments we receive for

our efforts. We even welcome the occasional

criticism as that only helps us improve! This edi-

tion feels like the ‘true’ first edition of 2016 as it

the first one put together in this calendar year.

We had our Christmas thank you for our distrib-

utors just before Xmas - and I think a good time

was had by all. We are fortunate indeed to have

such a willing, hard-working set of folks to en-

sure that the magazine reaches every house-

hold in Buckden.

January is an odd month. Many people (me in-

cluded!) are trying to recover after the excesses

of Christmas and New Year and so there is a

quiet feeling around the village. Perhaps that’s

why the editorial team choose this month to

have their annual dinner!
