There is half an hour of si-
lent adoration before the Blessed Sacrament
every Thursday following the 9.30 am Mass and
ending with Benediction at 10.30 am.

Operation Christmas Child
Shoe Box appeal.
The Methodist Church will be taking part in the
above appeal and shoe boxes will be collected in
November. Leaflets are available in Saint Mary’s
Church, Methodist Church, Saint Hugh’s Church
the Library and the Village Hall.
Are you able to knit a puppet for a Christmas
shoebox if so, Knitting patterns are available at
the Methodist Church.
Operation Christmas Child is a worthwhile chari-
ty making a difference at Christmas, by giving
shoe boxes containing small gifts to children in
poor countries.

Methodists Support Macmillan
Coffee Morning, 25th September
On Friday 25th September at 10 a.m. the regu-
lar Methodist coffee morning will be joining in
with the Macmillan Cancer Care 'World's Big-
gest Coffee Morning'.
We expect to have some cakes and other items
on sale and of course there will be good compa-
ny so do come along and help us to support this
excellent cause. Thank you.
