Pat’s Pole to Pole

For the first of our autumn meetings, the Huntingdonshire Local Group of the Wildlife Trust will present

an illustrated talk entitled ‘Pat’s Pole to Pole’. This will be held on Wednesday 9

th

September at 7.30pm

at Brampton Memorial Centre, Thrapston Road, Brampton, PE28 4TB.

The talk will be given by Pat Doody, who is Chairman of the Huntingdonshire Local Group. Pat has a

particular interest in coastal ecology and is also an accomplished photographer. He has recently been

on an epic trip to Antarctica, returning via many of the Atlantic Islands. Pat will tell us about all the won-

derful wildlife he has seen on this trip and also on a previous trip to Svalbard in the Arctic.

Anyone interested in wildlife is most welcome to attend. Booking for the talk is not necessary. En-

BUCKDEN SURGERY

PATIENTS’ ASSOCIATION

As a patient registered with Buckden Surgery,

you are a member of the Buckden Surgery Pa-

tients’ Association (BSPA) which exists to sup-

port the surgery in its services to you.

The BSPA committee meets four times in the

year and consists of a Chairman, Secretary,

Treasurer, 200 club organiser, Car Scheme co

-ordinator and village representatives from

Buckden, Little Paxton, Diddington and

Southoe, Grafham and Ellington, Perry.

At the Annual General Meeting later this year,

there will be vacancies for

Treasurer

Car scheme co-ordinator

since all the present office holders will have

served their permitted terms of office.
