Front Cover
The front cover this month shows the phonebox not
long after it was completed, and was kindly provided by
the staff at Anne Furbank who took the picture during a
recent photoshoot to promote a new collection. We are
grateful for such a lovely picture!
We are always looking for photos, images, drawings and
paintings to use on the front cover so please keep send-
ing them in. Please note that photos should ideally be in
portrait format and should be a
minimum
of 2400 x
1700 pixels. More is better!

When we received the photo of the refurbished telephone box complete with defibrillator that makes the front cov-
er this month, we knew fairly quickly that we wanted to use it as it is a great picture, and is something that those
involved in its creation should be proud of, and will be a potential life-saving asset for the village. Sadly, as many of
you will know, the defibrillator had barely been installed before it was stolen! Despite this, we decided to run with
the cover anyway as it seems quite ‘iconic’.
We are apparently well into Spring now, but it is very difficult to believe that as I look at the rain pouring down, or at
least where I can see it through the fog. Hopefully, by the time you receive this copy, the weather will be significant-
ly better, and drier!
Can I remind you all that the Annual Parish Meeting takes place on Thursday 22nd May, where James Palmer, mayor
of the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority, will be our guest speaker!
Please remember to visit the Roundabout website. There are often articles there that we could not fit into the print
edition, as well as information that arrives during the month:
