Huntingdonshire Health Walk Scheme

February 2020

Trained walk leaders will lead eight different health walks this

month from the thirty-or-so assigned to the group. The walks

are on Wednesdays at 2pm and Fridays at 10am. On Wednes-

day 18th March, we shall meet outside the Village Hall for the

Diddington Doddle. There are toilet and refreshment facilities

available at the Hall, as with most other health walk ven-

ues. For more information, please see below.

Health walks will suit anyone able to maintain an exercise-

walking pace for an hour-or-so. There are also 20-30-minute

walks from the Buckden GP Surgery on Thursdays from 10am.

Suitable clothing/footwear plus a small bottle of drinking water

are key accessories.

MONDAY CLUB

We are a social group of ladies who meet fortnightly at

2.30pm in the Millard Suite at Buckden Village Hall.

At each meeting we either have a guest speaker or partici-

pate in an activity of our own. We then enjoy a cup of tea

and biscuits, and participate in a raffle.
