To parents of students studying French or Spanish
Learning a language is not only fun but it is becoming more and more important and a lot of students
have the potential to do well, but sometimes a little extra help is required.
I am studying Spanish and French at A-Level after achieving A* grades at GCSE, but I wasn’t always an A*
language student. I was given help, encouragement and guidance that gave me the confidence to be the
best I could be. Now I want to offer the same to anyone looking to enjoy and progress in these languages.
I can offer one-on-one help to students. That help may be with sentence structure, vocabulary or simply
to practice pronunciation, or all three.
Languages can seem confusing and sometimes seeing someone who has been through the GCSE process
(‘process’ is the polite word: GCSE’s can be daunting) can be a very good way to progress.
