New to Buckden Library!

Engage in the Afternoon is a programme of talks and

workshops organised by libraries throughout the

county. Following a successful taster event in Octo-

ber, we will be running monthly events at Buckden

library from January 2016. We aim to bring you a

range of interesting speakers with wide knowledge of

their specialist subjects.

Our first talk is on Wednesday 20

th

January between

2pm and 3.30pm and our guest speaker is Squadron

Leader Kevin Dalley RAF (Retired), who will be talk-

ing about the Pathfinder Force formed at RAF Wyton

in August 1942.

Regular events will be held on the third Wednesday of

each month after that.

This is a free event and tickets are available at Buck-

den library or by contacting our call centre on 0345

045 5225. Places are limited so please remember to

book. Refreshments will be available and we ask for

a small donation to cover costs. A full list of talks tak-

ing place across the district is available from the li-

brary on a quarterly basis.
