For the editorial team this has been a peculiar five months. We were determined to keep producing the magazine, even though we were unable to print and dis- tribute it throughout the lockdown, and all the editions for the last five months were published and are available on - line on our website at www.buckdenroundabout.info . Do check them out; most of the instalments of Wendy Trattner ’ s history of Buckden school (which concludes this month on page 12), and the first instalment of Keith Lawrence ’ s story of helping to design and build an orphanage in Kenya (which continues this month on page 16) were published in these on - line only edi- tions. Our centre spread this month showcases the covers of the on - line only editions especially for those of you who did not see them there. Don ’ t forget that all our editions back to 2013 are also available on - line via our website. The editorial team have many people to thank. We are grate- ful to our volunteer distributors who have returned to the task with enthusiasm. Thank you also to our advertisers, with- out whom there would be no Roundabout, and who have con- tinued to support us. If you can, please use their services and products, and mention that you have seen their adverts in the magazine. Although getting back into print is a great step forward in the long road back to normality, we are aware that epidemic is not over at that uncertain times still lie ahead. I can assure you that we will continue to do our best to deliver the Round- about every month to every household in Buckden, Didding- ton and Stirtloe. Please remember to visit the Roundabout website. There are often articles there that we could not fit into the print edition, as well as information that arrives during the month: www.buckdenroundabout.info This month ’ s editor - Alec MacAndrew Editor ’ s Page
