As soon as we know the outcome, we will post this on the web site. Silver Street and Mill Road developments The hold on both these developments has been extended to 15 th May. We are chasing Highways England for an update on the situation regarding the Buckden roundabout and will put an update on the web site as soon as we hear anything. We are chasing this. Coronavirus and Buckden Cemetery In the current situation it has been agreed that the purchase of burial plots in the cemetery will be suspended for the moment. It has also been agreed, as space in the cemetery is limited, that only those people who have a permanent address in the village will be buried in the cemetery. Any deviation from this will be at the discretion of the Council. This position will be reviewed once the corona- virus pandemic is over. Village Handymen Until now we have managed to maintain most services around the village. However, the village handymen have now had problems themselves and our capacity is reduced.
