These were fund- ed by the Parish Council to support the schools aim to promote more considerate parking and reduce pollution from idling engines. Thermal Imaging Camera The Council has purchased a thermal imaging camera. which shows where heat is being lost from a property and helps to assess the thermal efficiency of a home. It is useful in determining where insula- tion or other measures may be required. This helps us to play a part in addressing climate change and at the same time making savings to energy bills. The camera can be loaned by contacting the Clerk. Lucks Lane Attenuation Basin The large attenuation basin on the devel- opment does not work as planned. The Parish Council believes there is a signifi- cant risk of it causing flooding, particularly in Springfield Close. HDC enforcement officers have said they can't take any action. The Parish Council urges all concerned residents to contact the lead- er of HDC Ryan.Fuller@huntingdonshire.gov.uk to demand he di- rects the enforcement officers to require the developer to correct the defects in the basin and make it secure against flooding.
