Bar Supervisor Vacancy
Buckden Village Club are looking for an
enthusiastic, com-
mitted
and
proactive
Bar Supervisor who would enjoy work-
ing in a friendly environment. The role requires working
25
hours per week
(negotiable).
Job Role and responsibilities:
•
Organisation of staff (including rotas, staff holiday, staff
training and disciplinary procedures)
•
Ordering supplies and stock control (including back stock
and cellar)
•
Organisation of till and cashing up procedures (including
recording takings and preparation of banking)
•
Managing events (including bookings, diary dates and
payments)
•
Managing promotions (including ordering and advertis-
ing)
•
Organisation of memberships (including taking, renewing
and advertisement).
Essential attributes include:
•
Staff Management/Supervisor experience
•
Previous Bar experience
•
Good levels of Literacy, Numeracy and IT
•
Good communication and interpersonal skills (with both
staff and customers)
Personal attributes include:
•
Honest and reliable
•
Trustworthy
•
Excellent time keeping
•
Presentable
•
Working efficiently and on own initiative
•
Confident and motivated
•
Good social skills
•
An ability to prioritise and remain calm under pressure
Desirable attributes include:
•
Food and Hygiene Certificate
