MONDAY CLUB
We are a social group of retired ladies who meet
fortnightly at 2.30pm in the Millard Room at Buck-
den Village Hall.
We enjoy a cup of tea as we chat and participate in
a raffle. Once a month we aim to organise a
speaker or activity.
Our first Meeting of 2014 will be on Monday 13
th
January and we will meet again on Monday 27
th
January when we will hear Miles Falla talk to us
about “My time at Peterborough Cathedral” Why
not come and join us? You’d be most welcome!
Buckden Parochial Charities
VACANCY
The charity manages South’s Almshouses and
Burberry Homes in Church Street, Buckden, con-
sisting of fifteen self-contained one-bedroom flats
for singles or couples, usually over 60 years of
age and who live in Buckden or who have a close
active family relationship with residents of Buck-
den. There is a warden, but anyone who is ap-
pointed must be capable of looking after them-
selves. There is a modest weekly charge which is
considerably less than commercial rents. We now

ity, for more information and an application form:
