We are looking for more paintings of any kind that we could use as a front cover. We can photograph them if you only have original artwork. We are also keen to get images (photos or paintings) of the village and surrounding areas in prepara- tion for future issues. If all goes well, and assuming nothing unforeseen, we are expecting to return to print for the next edition. So, look out for the magazine through your letter box or on your door- mat towards the end of August. Residents have started moving in to the new Bloor Homes Luck ’ s Lane development and we are, of course, planning to deliver the Roundabout there. However, we need a distribu- tor, ideally a resident in the development. We expect to deliv- er to about 10 homes in our next edition and to about 25 homes by the end of the year. If you are interested in volun- teering, please contact our distribution team at distribu- tion@buckdenroundabout.info . We continue with Wendy Trattner ’ s history of Buckden School on page 10. As we are getting closer to the present time in next month ’ s edition, we ’ d like people who attended Buckden School to send photos of themselves in school uniform, that we might include in the article. Send the photos to edi- tor@buckdenroundabout.info . On page 14, we start a new series of articles documenting Buckden resident Keith Lawrence ’ s work to design and help build an orphanage on a remote island in Lake Victoria, Kenya. Follow Keith ’ s exciting adventure in this and the next couple of editions. Thanks to all our readers who have stuck with us through the several editions that were available on - line only. We can ’ t wait till next month when we deliver paper copies again. Please remember to visit the Roundabout website. There are often articles there that we could not fit into the print edition, as well as information that arrives during the month: http:// www.buckdenroundabout.info/ This month ’ s editor - Alec MacAndrew Editor ’ s Page
