Christmas Miscellany
The Huntingdonshire Local Group of the Wildlife Trust is pleased to present a Christmas Miscellany on Wednes-
day 14th December at 7.30pm at Brampton Memorial Hall, Thrapston Road, Brampton.
We will begin with our speaker, Brian Eversham, who has been the Chief Executive of the Wildlife Trust for Bed-
fordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire since 2009. Previous to that, Brian has been the Conservation
Director for the Trust and, among other things, he developed the Ecology Groups for monitoring nature reserves.
Brian was also head of Zoology and Research Co-ordinator at the Centre for Ecology and Hydrology, Monks
Wood from 1983-1997.
Brian has a comprehensive knowledge and interest in wildlife including birds, botany, lichens, insects and mol-
luscs and is the author of the Atlas of the Dragonflies of Britain and Ireland and editor of the Ordnance Survey
Nature Atlas. Tonight Brian will give us an update on the work of the Wildlife Trust, including new discoveries in
our area.
This will be followed by our Christmas Quiz, plus wine and mince pies.
Anyone interested in wildlife is most welcome to attend. Booking is not necessary. Entrance charge £2.50
(accompanied children free). Please contact Tim on 01480 457795 for more information
