9 Buckden Roundabout September 2023 For Your Diary MONDAY CLUB We are a social group of ladies who meet fortnightly at 2.30pm in the Millard Suite at Buckden Village Hall. At each meeting we either have a guest speaker or partici- pate in an activity of our own. We then enjoy a cup of tea and biscuits, and participate in a raffle. Why not come and join us? On Friday the 1 st at 10am, the Buckden Village walk starts from the Village Hall car park (PE19 5UY) and on Friday the 15 th at 10am, the Buckden Marina walk starts at the car park there (PE19 5QS). The other seven walks start at local venues as shown in the walks leaflet available from the Mayfield GP Surgery and the Library, or by checking on the website**. Trained volunteer leaders follow risk - assessed routes for about an hour at a steady exercise pace. Please look out for the day's weather and possible ground conditions when considering the most suitable walking gear. Also, carrying some drinking water is advised. Walkers must check in with leaders 10 - 15minutes before the group sets off, please. The results of her research will be stored in the Huntingdonshire archives and will be available to the general public once complete. Millard Suite, Village Hall, 7.30pm. We will have a tasting of the wines, beers and food from South America NEW MEMBERS ARE WELCOME to join a lively sociable group where help and advice on wine and beer making are freely given.
