9 Buckden Roundabout October 2023 For Your Diary MONDAY CLUB We are a social group of ladies who meet fortnightly at 2.30pm in the Millard Suite at Buckden Village Hall. At each meeting we either have a guest speaker or partici- pate in an activity of our own. We then enjoy a cup of tea and biscuits, and participate in a raffle. Why not come and join us? The venue for the Buckden Marina walk on Friday the 20th is the car park there (post code PE19 5QS): the other seven walks start locally but elsewhere. For full walk details, please take a leaflet from the Library at the Village Hall (PE19 5UY) or from the Mayfield GP Surgery (PE19 5SZ). Alternatively, the website ** will reveal. . Trained volunteer leaders follow safe (weather permitting) risk - assessed walks for about an hour at a steady pace. Suitable footwear and clothing are essential, and carrying a bottle of drinking water is strongly recommended. A record of walkers has to be maintained, so if you are joining any walks, please check in with the leader between 5 and 10 minutes before the start. A VERY BIG THANK YOU to everyone who contributed to the shoebox coffee morning, by donating gifts, money and coming to the coffee morning. It was lovely to see so many people.
