As we said last month, it has been a peculiar five months! As you know, we are an editorial team and we all bring different, but valuable, skills and interests to the table, and we each have our own areas of responsibility. I ’ m one of the co - editors and this is the first time that I have undertaken the editing duties since before lockdown started! I must confess I was slightly concerned that I would not re- member what I had to do, or would forget entirely! Fortunate- ly that has not proven to be the case and I was quickly back into the swing of things and enjoying every minute of the ed- iting process. Keith Lawrence ’ s story of helping to design and build an or- phanage in Kenya concludes this month on pages 12 and 13. You can catch up on parts 1 and 2 in the online - only August edition with part 3 published in the September edition. Also this month, starting on page 14, we have the first part (of 2) of an article about RAF Gransden Lodge by Richard Storey, Secretary of the Buckden Local History Society. When circum- stances allow, BLHS meet on the first Wednesday of the month with a different speaker and topic and are well worth looking - up when the current restrictions ease. Please remember to visit the Roundabout website. As well as every edition from 2013 onwards available to see, there are often articles there that we could not fit into the print edition, as well as information that arrives during the month: www.buckdenroundabout.info This month ’ s editor - Ian Carter Editor ’ s Page
