On Friday the 12 th May the group meets at the Buckden Marina car park at 10am; the leaflet shows where the remaining walks will assemble. These walks, formerly “ Health ” walks, are led by trained volun- teer - leaders and are safety - checked; they welcome folk who feel they can walk at a steady exercise pace for about an hour: speed is not the key. Bearing in mind what sort of day it is, firm walking shoes and all - weather clothing should be worn. Carry- ing a small bottle of drinking water will also help in case of de- hydration. Up to ten minutes before a walk, please see the leader to regis- ter your presence, then enjoy the walk and the pleasant com- pany.
