9 Buckden Roundabout March 2023 For Your Diary MONDAY CLUB We are a social group of ladies who meet fortnightly at 2.30pm in the Millard Suite at Buckden Village Hall. At each meeting we either have a guest speaker or partici- pate in an activity of our own. We then enjoy a cup of tea and biscuits, and participate in a raffle. 06 March Talk by MAGPAS - the Air Ambulance charity 20 March ‘ The Witches of Warboys ’ A talk by the Norris Museum Why not come and join us? If you require a lift or any further information, please con- tact Jane Scott on 811468 or Betty Millard on 810087 Wellbeing Walks Huntingdon March 2023 Leaflets detailing the group's ten walks this month have been sent to the Mayfield Surgery and the Village Library. Eight of the group's ten walks start/finish in Brampton, Huntingdon, Houghton, Godmanchester and Grafham. However, the remaining two walks are from the village Library: • Friday the 3rd at 10am (the “ Diddington Doddle ”) • Friday the 17th at 10am (the “ Buckden Ramble ”) The approved walks are trained - volunteer - led, are about one hour long at a moderate exercise pace, and friendly compan- ionship is assured. They are also free, although voluntary do- nations are always welcome! It is important (a) that you wear clothing that can cope with weather and underfoot conditions, (b) that you carry some drinking water in case of dehydration, and (c) that you report to the walk leader at least 5 minutes before the walk starts.
