10 Buckden Roundabout March 2023 For Your Diary Biodiversity for All The next meeting of the Huntingdonshire Local Group of the Wildlife Trust will be held on Wednesday 8th March 2023 at 7.30pm. Following the election of Lara Davenport - Ray to Huntingdon- shire District Council, Lara will speak to us about the Council ’ s ‘ Biodiversity For All ’ project. Lara is the first Green Party Councillor for Huntingdonshire and is the lead for Climate and the Environment. She will explain how she plans to engage the community, parish councils and other landowners to take fast, direct action to deliver more biodiversity in our area. Everyone is most welcome to attend. Talks start at 7.30pm at Brampton Memorial Hall, Thrapston Road, Brampton, PE28 4TB. Admission charge £3.50. Registered Charity No: 1000412 Paul Jones and Fiona Hendley Paul Jones first came to prominence as the first lead Singer with the pop group Manfred Mann. His wife, Fiona Hendley, performed as an ac- tress in such televi- sion programmes as "The Widows". Whats more important for our locality is that the two of them will soon be coming to Perry. They will both be coming to Perry Baptist Church on Friday 21st April at 7pm. Though we will have memories of them in their professional careers this will be an opportunity for us to hear what has happened in their lives since coming to fame singing such well known hits as "Do Wah Diddy Diddy". Together they will share stories of what has happened in their personal lives, including how they came to faith. I have arrranged for them to come to churches many times before and each time they have left the people spell bound as they presented a humor- ous, inspiring and uplifting evening, with great songs, as they share their journey of faith. The evening will have a free entry, but due to the limitation of space we would ask that those wishing to attend ask for free tickets to ensure we have seats for those attending.
