We are looking for more photos and paintings of any kind that we could use as a front cover. We especially need photos and paintings of autumn scenes, and of events in the village. We should be grateful for photos (or even paintings!) of the coro- nation celebrations in the village. Please note that photos should ideally be in portrait format and should be a minimum of 2400 x 1700 pixels. More is better! We are moving into the summer months when we start to see more events taking place around the village - principally the out door events. In June we are blessed with several events in and around the village. A cream tea in Diddington (page 10); ‘ A Summer Floral Dream ’ in St Neots (page 19); the Wizard of Oz in Offord (page 10); Offord Goes Wild (page 12); and finally Buckden Open Gardens (page 12) and Buckden Proms (page 15) on the same day! In July we have Buckfest. Tickets are selling fast but there are a few still available and they can be purchased either from Buckden Village Club or Gilbert ’ s on the High Street. Also in July we have the Kimbolton Country Fayre see page 19 for details on how to purchase discounted early bird tickets. On top of those one off events, we have the Buckden Farmers & Craft Market once a month at The Vine (page 15) as well as all the local societies that meet on a regular basis. Details of those societies and dates can normally be found on the ‘ For Your Diary ’ pages. So much choice! So little time …. Please remember to visit the Roundabout website. As well as every edition from 2013 onwards available to see, there are often articles there that we could not fit into the print edition, as well as information that arrives during the month. The online edition of the magazine is in full colour: www.buckdenroundabout.info This month ’ s editor - Ian Carter Editor ’ s Page
